Building a strong team is crucial in enforcing a workplace of productivity and innovation. When fostering healthy interpersonal relationships within the workplace, corporate activities should be made fun, creative, structured, and goal-oriented. By implementing these 4 fun outdoor corporate activities, you can expect your team to develop leadership skills, a sense of camaraderie, tolerance, and effective communication skills. Have two teams competing against one another at a time. At your instruction, each person will have to run to the line and return to their starting position, handing over the baton to their teammate. If you don’t have a baton, you can use a bottle of water, a highlighter, a stapler, or any other small object. This fun activity teaches individuals to have tolerance and patients when working with their teammates even in the face of competition. It can even be made into a workplace potluck where each person brings in one of their favorite dishes. Duties can be delegated to each person. For example, one person can bring in utensils, another can provide the napkins, and someone else can bring the picnic blanket. This teaches responsibility, trust, and gives the team an opportunity to socialize a bit more.Volunteer:You can volunteer right outside your workplace by designating time for a community clean up. If there’s litter around your workplace building or even on residing streets, you and your team can organize a day to pick up trash. Volunteering helps to boost overall morale, self-esteem, and sense of accomplishment. Plus, it’ll help your team to feel more pride in their workplace environment.Obstacle Course:Everyone faces obstacles within their life whether physical or mental. You can set up a small obstacle course outside your workplace. Have them jump through tires, climb up a rope, do the limbo, and more. The obstacle course will give team members a lesson in overcoming things like adversity by showing them that they can succeed if they stay motivated.Team building should be fun and encourage full engagement from team members. It’s good to blow off some workplace steam whilst also promoting activities that enforce self-development.
